No. The official Foreigner Physical Examination Form must be completed, signed, and laboratory-stamped within 6 months of your university application deadline. Consulates and university admissions offices automatically reject expired medical records.
Q3.Do I need a professor pre-admission / acceptance letter before applying for CSC Type B?
For top-tier C9 League universities (e.g., Tsinghua, Peking, Zhejiang, USTC, Fudan), securing a Provisional Acceptance Letter from an academic supervisor increases your final CSC selection probability to over 90%. Some universities make supervisor acceptance mandatory before portal submission.
Q4.Can I get a CSC scholarship if my prior degree was taught in English without HSK results?
Yes! If you apply for English-Taught Degree programs, an official Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate from your previous university or a TOEFL (85+)/IELTS (6.5+) score waives the HSK 4/5 Chinese language requirement.
Q5.What happens if a Chinese university requires an application processing fee alongside CSC?
Certain universities (e.g. Shanghai Jiao Tong, Fudan, BIT) require a university portal application fee (typically 400–800 RMB). This fee is separate from the free CSC national portal and must be paid for the university to review your CSC candidate file.
