1. Acceptance of terms

By using Oppora (the "Site"), browsing listings, using the free tools, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. What Oppora is

Oppora is a free platform for finding scholarships, fellowships, grants, internships, and jobs, plus a set of free application tools (CV Builder, Passport Photo Cropper, Opportunity Finder). We are not a scholarship provider, a recruiter, or an official representative of any organization whose opportunity is listed here, we're a directory and a toolkit, not the source of the opportunities themselves.

3. Listing content and AI-assisted rewriting

Most listings on Oppora are gathered from public sources and rewritten in our own voice for clarity and consistency, they are not copy-pasted from the original posting, and are not written or reviewed by the organization offering the opportunity. We do our best to preserve every material fact (deadline, funding, eligibility) accurately, but rewriting always carries some risk of error. Always verify deadline, eligibility, and award details directly with the official host organization before applying| Oppora's listing is a starting point, not the authoritative source.

4. Accounts

A student/job-seeker account is optional and free, and gets you bookmarks, alerts, and saved CVs. You're responsible for anything entered into your account, including CV content, don't put anything in a CV you build here that you wouldn't want stored (see our Privacy Policyfor what we do and don't do with it). You can delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from Account Settings.

5. Posting a job as an employer

Organizations can create a free account to post job listings directly. By submitting a listing, you confirm that it's a real, legitimate opportunity you're authorized to post, and that its content is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Here's how the review process actually works:

• Submitted listings are automatically screened by an AI system and blocked outright if they appear to contain illegal or offensive content
• Anything that passes goes live immediately, it does not sit in a manual approval queue before publishing
• Every listing that goes live is still flagged for a human admin to double-check afterward, and can be taken down if it turns out to violate these terms
• You can edit or mark a listing as filled/expired at any time from your organization dashboard; live listings can't be deleted outright, only marked expired, so links people may have already shared don't break

We reserve the right to remove any listing, or suspend any organization account, that we determine violates these terms, misrepresents the opportunity, or is fraudulent, including after it has already been live.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract listings from the Site outside of normal browsing
• Post a job listing for a fraudulent, illegal, or non-existent opportunity, or one you're not authorized to post on behalf of the organization named
• Use another person's account, or misrepresent your identity or organization
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems

7. The free tools

The CV Builder, Passport Photo Cropper, and Opportunity Finder are provided free, with no account required to use them. Content you create with them (a CV, a cropped photo) is yours, we don't claim ownership over it. The Passport Photo Cropper runs entirely in your browser; we never receive or see the photo you crop. We make a best effort to keep passport/visa photo dimensions accurate per country but cannot guarantee a given country's authority will accept it, always check that country's current official requirements before submitting an application.

8. No warranties

The Site and its tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing's details remain accurate after publication, opportunities get updated, paused, or closed by their hosts without notice to us.

9. Limitation of liability

Oppora is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site, including missed deadlines, an unsuccessful application, a job listing that turns out to be inaccurate or filled, or reliance on a CV or photo you created with our tools. Use of the Site, and any application you submit as a result of it, is entirely at your own judgment and risk.

10. External links

The Site links to third-party opportunity and employer sites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data once you leave Oppora.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.
