The team is responsible for the software architecture and works closely with other departments, such as product owners and platform teams. Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and develop complex backend services and cloud infrastructure for the mobile platform
- Take active ownership of services and infrastructure, driving technical decisions in consultation with technical stakeholders
- Define quality and performance standards depending on the development stage of the product
- Shape the entire development process from architecture to deployment on Kubernetes/AWS
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure processes with Infrastructure-as-Code
- Work closely with mobile developers, product owners, and UX/UI designers to create the best possible technical foundation for outstanding app experiences

Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development with Spring Boot
- In-depth knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deep understanding of microservice architectures, API design, and cloud-native patterns
- Experience in data modeling and designing scalable database structures
- Pronounced communication skills and problem-solving competence
- Ability to mentor or coach colleagues
- Open mindset for the peculiarities of mobile app development
- Interest in interdisciplinary work and experience working with different departments
- Skilled in agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Good German and English language skills
