Executive Assistant, SVP/GM, Engineering (Hybrid)

Cisco is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the SVP and GM of the Data Center and Internet Infrastructure team in San Jose. This hybrid role requires three to four days per week at the office. The team leads the strategy for high-performance routing and mobile networks, driving innovation for the world's largest webscalers and enterprises. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing the SVP's calendar, coordinating travel, and providing analytical support for special projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have outstanding communication skills, and be able to work with limited direction. They will be responsible for managing conflicting meeting requests, supervising action items, and following up to ensure completion. The candidate will also be required to create travel packs for international trips, prepare meeting briefing documents, and take initiative to resolve issues within specified policies and guidelines. The role requires a high level of organization, prioritization, and attention to detail. The candidate will be working in a lively environment and will need to be able to think creatively and calmly when dealing with quick and unplanned changes in schedule.
