Prisoner Visitation and Support is looking for volunteers to visit prisoners at FCI Aliceville in Aliceville, Alabama. The organization focuses on visiting prisoners with an acute need for human contact, including those without regular visits, long sentence prisoners far from home, those in solitary confinement, and those on death row. Volunteers will let prisoners set the agenda for discussions, which may include concerns about lack of family contact, medical problems, work or educational plans, and current events. The time commitment is a few hours per month, with a minimum commitment of 2 years to visiting, and volunteers must be willing to visit anyone without prejudice. The primary goal of Prisoner Visitation and Support is to provide human contact to prisoners who need it most. Volunteers will be visiting prisoners at FCI Aliceville, which is located at 11070 Alabama 14, Aliceville, Alabama.
