Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Hold nationality and citizenship in one of the ADB member countries
Enrollment: Enrolled as masters or Ph.D. students in any of the ADB member states
Academic Background: Academic or study background related to ADB's projects
English Proficiency: Proficiency in the English language required for all candidates
Professional Experience: Some professional experience related to ADB projects

Volunteers will let prisoners set the agenda for discussions, which may include concerns about lack of family contact, medical problems, work or educational plans, and current events. The time commitment is a few hours per month, with a minimum commitment of 2 years to visiting, and volunteers must be willing to visit anyone without prejudice.
