About this opportunity
Opportunity Overview
The company is hiring a Real-Time AI Orchestration Engineer to build a real-time, voice-first AI experience for mobile devices. This role involves architecting a system to start and stop live streaming sessions on demand while controlling costs. The position is a remote contract job requiring around 30 hours of work per week for approximately three months, with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have production experience in real-time streaming media, such as WebRTC, and a hands-on approach to building and shipping apps. The company needs someone who can work during US Eastern time hours. The role involves working with React Native, low-latency conversational voice pipelines, and focusing on cost and latency at the streaming layer. This is a contract position, not a full-time job. The company is looking for someone with specific experience, including genuine production experience with real-time streaming media and a hands-on approach to building and shipping apps.
