About this opportunity
Opportunity Overview
Soleis is in direct contact with the company and can answer any questions about this Support & Deployment Engineer role. The lead engineer writes the architecture and build prompts, but someone still needs to run the prompts, fix what breaks, test it against real data, keep small end-to-end builds moving through staging, and ensure users know how to use these tools. This role is that owner, responsible for the day-to-day bug queue across Compass, Atlas/Morgan, and related tools. The company is looking for someone to execute build prompts faithfully, test before shipping, deploy small builds, train and support staff, and write down fixes to prevent repeat issues. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping production software, be comfortable reading and executing written build prompts, and have a working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and Postgres. They should also be familiar with AI coding tools like Claude Code and have experience with Git, PRs, and staging-first deployment discipline. The role requires strong communication skills, as the Support & Deployment Engineer will need to explain technical things to non-technical staff members. The company offers a unique work environment, with a focus on remote work and a platform that provides resources and support for talent. They are looking for someone who is comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and is able to work independently.
