This is a fixed-term, full-time Event Controller position in the Finance department, located in Brazil. Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of FIFA budgeting and reporting tools
- Organize hands-on training with budget owners in Brazil
- Prepare cash flow forecast requirements in connection with the Brazilian operational budget
- Support financial planning and budget review processes
- Implement FIFA Finance processes in Brazil
- Assist with the presentation of quarterly forecast exercises
- Support the accrual process at year-end
- Review monthly cost allocations to various project codes
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Monitor and maintain monthly cash flow forecasts
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare additional financial reports
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Experience in accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis
- Experience with budgeting and reporting tools
- Experience in preparing financial statements, preferably in a multi-entity environment
- Experience in an international environment
- Experience in procurement of advantage
- SAP experience preferred
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive hands-on approach to problem solving
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Right to work in Brazil
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro
