This is a fixed-term, full-time job as a Ticketing Stadium Operations Manager in Brazil. The role is part of the Ticketing, Hospitality & Stadium Revenue department. To be eligible, you need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The job involves managing ticketing operations for a stadium, which includes planning, delivering, and troubleshooting ticketing systems. The role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. You will be working with various stakeholders, including FIFA departments and Host City venue teams. The job also involves designing and delivering training programs for stadium ticketing staff. The ideal candidate has solid experience in ticketing operations, preferably in a stadium or large venue and international sporting events. Proficiency in MS Office and planning software is also required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining overarching and stadium-specific ticketing operations concepts
- Liaise with other Ticketing and non-Ticketing functions to plan and deliver required stadium ticketing infrastructure, technology, equipment, and security
- Define and develop stadium ticketing operational policies and procedures
- Define and develop stadium ticketing issue resolution processes
- Configure all ticketing systems for use during tournament operations
- Assist in the development and execution of stadium ticketing workforce planning
- Design and deliver a world-class training program for stadium ticketing staff, contractors, and volunteers
- Ensure two-way communication and engagement with FIFA departments and Host City venue teams
- Plan and deliver Ticketing HQ operations support for venue teams during tournament time
- Support general ticketing operations for other FIFA events as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education
- Customer-oriented, strong communication skills, flexible, efficient, and accountable team player
- Solid Ticketing Operations experience – ideally in a stadium or large venue and international sporting events
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- Experience in designing and delivering face-to-face and online training
- Experience in managing large projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Experience in delivering world-class customer service
- Knowledge of Ticketing and Electronic Access Control systems
- Knowledge of e-learning design systems is preferred
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities
- Ability to coordinate across internal functional areas as well as external stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to working with different environments and time zones
- Willingness to travel to host cities
- Availability to work extended hours during test events and tournament time
- Experience working in international, multicultural environments preferred
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Right to work in Brazil
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro
