Opportunity Overview
This is a fixed-term, full-time Workforce Training Manager position in Brazil. The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive training plan for the tournament workforce. The position is part of the Workforce, People & Culture department. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and experience designing and delivering training programs in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the sporting industry or large-scale events. They will also need to be fluent in English and Portuguese and have the right to work in Brazil. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The position is based in Rio de Janeiro, and the candidate must be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan
- Coordinate with department heads and stakeholders to assess training needs
- Establish a coordinated training journey for the tournament workforce
- Collaborate with Functional Area leads on training delivery mechanisms
- Manage the creation and distribution of template training materials
- Track and report on training initiatives' progress
- Ensure alignment with the event's objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on training delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related planning and inquiries
- Oversee budget requirements for organizational training initiatives
- Work with Planning & Integration to create tools for evaluating training programs
- Adjust training plans based on feedback from trainees and trainers
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education
- Solid experience designing and delivering Training/Learning and Development programs
- Demonstrated experience utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Significant experience designing and delivering Training/L&D programs in the Sporting Industry/large-scale events
- Right to work in Brazil
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro
