The Uniforms Coordinator role is a fixed-term, full-time position in the Administration department, located in Brazil. This role provides hands-on support for the delivery of the corporate and tournament uniform program. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or operations, preferably with experience in mega sports events and corporate organizations. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver the uniform program in line with agreed service levels. The Uniforms Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all FIFA27 workforce members have corporate uniforms according to the entitlement and usage matrix. They will also contribute to defining best practices within the Uniform Team and prepare training material and documentation. The role requires fluency in English and Portuguese, as well as the ability to relocate to Rio de Janeiro. The Uniforms Coordinator will work on various tasks, including managing stock levels, communicating uniform guidelines, and planning uniform distribution to related events. They will also work with stakeholders to agree on guidelines for suppliers who are not entitled to tournament-dedicated uniforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to execute the delivery of the corporate and tournament time uniform program
- Ensure all FIFA27 workforce have corporate uniform according to the entitlement and usage matrix
- Collaborate with key FIFA Zurich and FIFA27 stakeholders to deliver the uniform program
- Put into action the strategy, process, and flows for the full project plan for the FWWC2027 uniform program
- Assist in the creation of the operation plan for tournament time
- Support relationships with external uniform suppliers
- Contribute to defining best practices within the Uniform Team and prepare training material and documentation
- Manage stock levels and keep up-to-date records of each uniform item
- Communicate and uphold the agreed FIFA27 Uniform Guidelines and Usage Policy
- Plan uniform distribution to all related FWW2027 events
Requirements & Qualifications
- Right to work in Brazil
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Ability to relocate to Rio de Janeiro
- Experience in retail or operations; preferably with experience in mega (sports) events and corporate organizations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience as a volunteer or working with volunteers
- Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record in administering uniform projects across complex quantity structures
- Team player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience, and persistence, with a pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Demonstrate initiative and a strong focus on providing a high level of service
