FIFA is hiring a Coordinator Regulatory Applications to work remotely. They will also prepare case files for decision by the FIFA Football Tribunal, taking into account existing FIFA and Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) jurisprudence. The role requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure. The coordinator will be working remotely, and the role is offered on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in law, with qualification to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction being an asset. Specialization in sports law is also an asset, as is experience working in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently and effectively deal with applications related to player transfers, player registrations, international transfers of minors, and validation exceptions
Handle applications for the international transfers of minors within the Transfer Matching System (TMS)
Handle requests related to the issuance of an international transfer certificate for players
Handle correspondence about proceedings before the FIFA Football Tribunal related to the protection of minors
Handle regulatory applications concerning player eligibility and changes of association
Handle regulatory applications concerning mandatory release for national-team duty and late return to clubs
Carry out the analysis of regulatory applications received by FIFA via the Legal Portal and TMS
Ensure the completeness of case files
Prepare case files of the different regulatory applications for decision by the FIFA Football Tribunal
Inform other FIFA departments of potential violations of the relevant provisions governing the protection of minors
Give written and/or oral advice on regulations and general legal issues related to the registration and transfer of minors

Readiness to do standby duties
