The role in question is a Help Desk IT Support Specialist position. This specialist will provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and be able to work as part of a self-organizing Scrum team. The position involves working remotely and following a mid-shift schedule starting from 3:00 PM onwards. The specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues, escalating complex issues when necessary, and documenting issues and resolutions clearly. They will also assist with user account setup, access management, and basic system administration, ensuring timely and professional communication with end users. The position requires at least 2-5 years of experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, or similar roles, with intermediate knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking and troubleshooting. A customer-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Respond to support requests via ticketing system, email, chat, or phone
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly and accurately
- Assist with user account setup, access management, and basic system administration
- Ensure timely and professional communication with end users
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices

Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, or similar roles
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS and/or macOS
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office applications
- Basic knowledge of networking and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory or user access management
- IT-related certification is a plus but not required
