Join the KfW team in Madagascar as the Head of Office/Local Representative for the KfW Office in Antananarivo. This senior executive role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, driving development cooperation between Germany and Madagascar. As the Head of Office, you'll lead a team of professionals, managing the office, coordinating with international organizations, and fostering effective implementation of KfW-financed programs. If you're passionate about development policy, social skills, and cultural sensitivity, and possess strong leadership and communication skills, this role is for you. As the Head of Office/Local Representative, you will be responsible for the establishment, functioning, and public relations of the KfW office in Antananarivo, representing KfW in sector meetings, workshops, and seminars, and providing support to KfW Project Managers in the preparation and/or management of Financial Cooperation projects and programs. You will also communicate and report regularly on all matters relevant to Financial Cooperation, manage the KfW office in Antananarivo locally, including staff supervision and management, and ensure the financial and budgetary management of the office.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in political economy, Business Administration, Regional Studies, or an equivalent qualification
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience and strong networks in development cooperation with international organizations or bilateral organizations in Madagascar
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English
- Ability to lead and supervise local staff and manage an office
- Proficiency in Malagasy (advantageous)
