The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF) is seeking an external evaluator to assess the Regional Refugee Sport for Development Programme in Southern Africa. The programme aims to promote girls' participation, gender equality, and social cohesion among refugee communities through structured sports activities. Benefits & Financial Aid

Budget: Approximately USD 15,000–25,000, inclusive of all expected costs

Location: Remote, with field engagement in three refugee camps in Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe

Eligibility Criteria

Team leader: Post-graduate degree in statistics, sociology, or related social science fields, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing evaluations and large data collections
Team members: Profound knowledge and experience of conducting large-scale evaluations, with at least one member having expertise in sample selection, structured survey use, data processing, and data analysis
Language: Fluency in English
Experience: Previous experience with providing similar consultancy services for donors, NGOs, international research institutes/universities, or UN organizations
Qualifications: Documented understanding of rights-based approach and gender equality, programme development, and previous experience in delivering quality results within strict deadlines
