Eligibility Criteria

Master's degree or equivalent in social sciences or relevant disciplines
At least 5 years of progressive professional experience in resilience, disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness and response, peacebuilding, and/or post-disaster recovery
Demonstrated field experience in complex, high-risk, and/or conflict-affected environments
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is desirable
In-depth knowledge of the Sahel region and experience in Niger is a strong asset
Experience with the UN systems is considered an asset
