Join the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Niger as a WASH Officer (Emergency) and make a significant impact in the lives of children. Eligibility Criteria
- Education: An advanced university degree in public health, social sciences, behavior change communication, sanitary engineering, or another relevant technical field.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in WASH programming, including programme management, monitoring and evaluation, behavior change communication, public health engineering, and emergency preparedness.
- Skills: Background in humanitarian preparedness, response, and recovery, knowledge management, intervention, reporting, data analysis, and national government WASH policies.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in French is required.
- Additional requirements:
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, English, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language
- Additional training or certification in WASH in emergencies, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and community-based approaches
- UN system experience
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings, and humanitarian contexts
