Join the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) as a Social Policy Officer in Lilongwe, Malawi, and play a crucial role in ensuring that every child has the opportunity to survive, grow, learn, and be protected. As part of UNICEF Malawi's Country Programme, you will be responsible for providing technical support to strengthen the Government of Malawi's planning, financing, budgeting, and expenditure management, contributing to improved outcomes for children and vulnerable populations. Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Social Science, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in administration, clerical work, budget preparation, public finance, public sector, social protection, social sectors, government budgeting, investment analysis, and financial reporting
- Language: Fluency in English required
- Skills: Demonstrated project management, budget management, and analytical skills; experience in stakeholder engagement, government relations, and policy programming an asset
