Eligibility Criteria

A University degree or equivalent in engineering, economics, finance or business administration, or related fields; preferably at post-graduate level or its equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in energy and industrial policy, regulation and projects, in both the public and private sectors with international experience working in several countries, with a focus on south Asia, and central west Asia
Credible expert in energy and industrial policy and governance with recognized ability to lead projects and share relevant knowledge on innovation to benefit the broad ADB community
Knowledge of key industrial areas such as steel, chemicals, cement and methane emissions reductions from oil and gas operations, and the current state of play in developed and developing countries
Demonstrable experience working on knowledge transfer from developed to developing countries, and industrial and trade promotion
Broad expertise within a specific area of ADB's operations (economic, sector, or thematic), or breadth across multiple areas with in-depth knowledge within one area
Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required. Years as an ADB-engaged consultant or contractor are considered experience outside of ADB
Written and verbal proficiency in English
