Triumph Industrial Process Ltd. is hiring a CNC Machinist to work on site in Nisku, AB. The salary ranges from $37.00 to $45.00 per hour, with 40 hours of work per week. The company operates in the general manufacturing and oil and gas industry. The position is available for immediate start, with two vacancies. The work involves computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and setting up and operating production machineries and tools. Responsibilities
- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Requirements & Qualifications
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Other trades certificate or diploma
- Machinist Trade Certification
- Machinist Red Seal Endorsment
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physically demanding, with the ability to stand for extended periods
