The Life Guard role is responsible for ensuring the safety of hotel guests at the pool and beach, and must have a governmental certificate in life guarding that is up to date. This position requires monitoring the hotel's pool and beach areas, keeping all signs updated, and being aware of first aid procedures and how to handle drowning cases. The Life Guard will also be expected to assist in other areas of the hotel and perform tasks assigned by management. The hotel has a strong focus on health, safety, and hygiene, as well as environmental protection and energy conservation. The Life Guard will be part of a team that operates a quality professional fitness program, carrying out fitness testing, evaluations, and program design. They will also be responsible for maintaining safety and cleaning standards throughout the hotel, and for predicting and preventing activities that could harm the environment. The hotel aims to minimize consumption and waste, and the Life Guard will be expected to carry out their responsibilities in a way that supports these goals. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school or vocational diploma, and at least 2 years of related work experience. They will need to have a sufficient level of English and Arabic to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Guard hotel guests against drowning in the pool or beach
- Monitor the hotel pool and beach areas
- Keep all hotel signs updated
- Inform management of any hazard situations during shift
- Be aware of first aid procedures and how to handle drowning cases
- Assist in different areas of the hotel

Requirements & Qualifications
