Acquia is hiring an Enterprise AI Architect to join their AI Core Engineering team in designing, building, and shipping production-grade agentic AI workflows. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in generative AI, agents, and agentic architectures, as well as the ability to move quickly and work with a variety of technologies, including Python, LangGraph, and Temporal. The role involves leading the end-to-end delivery of AI agent implementations, conducting architectural reviews, and designing and deploying production-grade AI systems. The company is looking for someone who can champion AI observability, define engineering blueprints, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI agent implementations
- Write and ship production AI code daily
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing AI agents' performance, scalability, and security
- Lead the design and deployment of production-grade AI systems
- Architect sophisticated, stateful, multi-agent workflows using LangGraph
- Champion AI observability by integrating LangFuse for deep tracing, prompt versioning, and rigorous evaluation
- Define the engineering blueprints for the entire organization
- Benchmark new LLM providers and orchestration frameworks

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in cloud computing architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting
- 3+ years of experience in AI agents architecture and development, with deep recent experience in generative AI and agentic architectures in production applications
- Demonstrated track record of shipping AI applications to production environments
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, Temporal, Pydantic, and LangFuse
- Python proficiency and strong engineering fundamentals
- Cloud AI deployment experience, including containerization and inference cost management
- RAG architecture knowledge, including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies
