Responsibilities

Design with AI, not around it
Validate user goals, map key journeys, and land on the actual jobs to be done
Explore broadly, then narrow down to a single concept
Iterate on designs, using sketches, wireframes, AI-generated lo-fi, competitor and industry research
Communicate design judgment effectively to the rest of the team
Set the design bar and decide what becomes a pattern
Stay involved through QA and impact, and have a say in what gets QA'd and what metrics tell us whether the thing actually worked
