About this opportunity
Opportunity Overview
This Product Designer role is with a small, senior team that includes a Product Lead, a Chief of Staff, a CTO, and five engineers. The team values fast and iterative design, with a focus on learning from users, customers, and the market. They use AI to support their design work and prioritize real user feedback and a range of perspectives. The team is looking for someone who can design with AI, not around it, and who is comfortable with being scrappy and iterative. The role involves designing and shipping real software, with a focus on education and learning. The team is still taking shape, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to set the design bar and decide what becomes a pattern. They will work closely with the team to understand the problem, develop concepts, and create high-fidelity designs that can be built by engineers. The company is looking for someone who is excited about building something that hasn't existed before and genuinely changes how people learn. They want someone who is willing to learn and sharpen their design skills and process on the job, and who is interested in getting deep on the education industry.
