One Acre Fund is hiring a Seed Sample Receptionist & Data Entry Officer in Karongi, Rwanda. This role supports the organization's mission to equip smallholder farmers with resources to improve their productivity. One Acre Fund serves over 2.8 million farmers in Rwanda and works closely with the government to improve food security. The Seed Sample Receptionist & Data Entry Officer will ensure accurate sample registration, data integrity, and smooth communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and related fields, 6-12 months of experience in front-facing customer service, and basic knowledge of seed testing processes. They will also need to have strong communication skills, including the ability to speak Kinyarwanda and English. The role involves receiving and verifying seed samples, logging test results, and collaborating with various teams to generate and store compliant documentation. Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and code incoming seed samples
- Allocate seed samples to required tests while keeping detailed logs for traceability
- Log test results into the management system
- Maintain up-to-date tracking logs
- Collaborate with SQSS to generate and store compliant documentation
- Serve as the main point of contact to handle inquiries, complaints, and updates
- Coordinate and prepare the laboratory for visits by clients, researchers, or interns
- Manage schedules, safety compliance, and visit logs

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and related fields
- 6-12 months of experience in front-facing customer service, reception, or administrative support within an agricultural, laboratory, or agribusiness setting
- Basic knowledge on seed testing processes
- Communication skills (can speak Kinyarwanda & English)
