CIVICUS External Learning and Community Design Consultancy 2026 (Paid Consultancy)

CIVICUS is seeking an experienced consultant or consulting team to lead the design and facilitation of a participatory learning process for the WeRise Global Community. This consultancy will support the creation of a sustainable, movement-led global community that promotes collaboration, shared learning, and long-term solidarity. The selected consultant will collaborate with members of the WeRise network and work remotely from September to November 2026. The consultancy is open to independent consultants, consulting teams, community development professionals, civil society experts, and organizational learning specialists. The WeRise Global Community aims to promote civic freedoms and strengthen grassroots movements around the world. The consultancy will focus on community development, movement building, organizational learning, human rights, civic space, community engagement, network facilitation, governance design, participatory research, social innovation, and systems thinking. The selected consultant will have the opportunity to work with CIVICUS, a global civil society alliance with more than 17,000 members across 180+ countries. The consultancy offers a paid international consultancy opportunity, experience collaborating with grassroots organizations, and international exposure in movement building and community development. The consultancy budget will be negotiated with the selected consultant based on the submitted proposal.
