The Senior BI Developer will work on complex datasets, transforming them into intuitive data stories that drive business decisions. Responsibilities
- Architect high-performance, interactive, and visually compelling Tableau dashboards and stories that meet complex business requirements
- Apply UI/UX best practices to dashboard design, ensuring reports are intuitive, actionable, and adoptable by non-technical stakeholders
- Master complex Tableau features, including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, advanced parameter actions, sets, and table calculations
- Design, build, and optimize robust data structures, extracts, and data prep workflows (using Tableau Prep, SQL, or Alteryx) tailored for performance
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Collaborate with IT/DevOps to manage Tableau Server content governance, row-level security (RLS), extract refresh schedules, and user permissions
- Partner with product managers, business analysts, and executives to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and map out data requirements
- Establish development standards, design templates, and peer-review processes for the BI team
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Actively monitor dashboard performance and troubleshoot slow-loading workbooks to ensure an optimal user experience

Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as a BI Developer or Data Analyst, with at least 3+ years dedicated exclusively to advanced Tableau development
- Deep experience writing, optimizing, and debugging complex queries, joins, and stored procedures
- Proven experience working with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift) and understanding dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)
- Strong ability to synthesize complex quantitative analysis into clear, actionable visual insights for executive leadership
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting data findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Ability to manage multiple data projects simultaneously in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours)
