Responsibilities

Own end-to-end regulatory and compliance strategy for the company's cloud and content businesses in market
Partner with business teams to understand product roadmaps, deal structures, and go-to-market plans
Identify regulatory exposures in advance and deliver practical, business-aligned legal advice
Monitor, interpret, and operationalize regulatory developments across Southeast Asia
Lead the rollout of localized compliance frameworks, policies, and training programs
Manage relationships with local external counsel and regulators across the region
Act as the company's designated regional regulatory counsel for Southeast Asia

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree from a reputable institution
Admitted to practice and holding an active lawyer's license in at least one jurisdiction
5+ years PQE with a demonstrated track record in regulatory and compliance work
Solid working knowledge of the Southeast Asian regulatory landscape with hands-on experience
Experience in regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, or government engagement
Strong product sense and genuine curiosity about cloud, content, and internet business models
Proven ability to partner with business teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and oral) is required
Proficiency in an additional Southeast Asian language is a plus
