This is a job for a voice actor to perform narration and character voice recordings for animated educational videos. The employer is looking for someone who can interpret scripts and deliver voice performances that communicate complex behavioral health and clinical information in a clear and engaging manner. The job involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including project managers, video producers, and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will have experience providing professional voice acting or narration services, particularly in producing high-quality recorded voice performances for animation, educational media, or comparable multimedia productions. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant experience. The role involves working with diverse audiences, including Veterans, trauma survivors, caregivers, healthcare providers, and the general public. The voice actor will need to adapt their vocal style, pacing, and delivery to meet the needs of these different audiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform narration and character voice recordings for animated educational videos and related multimedia products
- Interpret approved scripts to communicate complex behavioral health and clinical information
- Deliver voice performances that accurately reflect the intended tone, pacing, and emotional context of educational materials
- Collaborate with project managers, video producers, directors, scriptwriters, subject matter experts, and Government stakeholders during recording sessions
- Participate in recording sessions, rehearsals, retakes, and revisions as required
- Pronounce medical, clinical, and technical terminology accurately and consistently throughout recordings
- Follow production direction regarding pacing, emphasis, pronunciation, timing, and emotional delivery
- Maintain professionalism during studio and remote recording sessions
- Ensure all performances are respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and appropriate for individuals with a broad range of traumatic experiences
- Support quality assurance activities by reviewing recordings and participating in revisions when necessary

Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience providing professional voice acting or narration services
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality recorded voice performances for animation, educational media, or comparable multimedia productions
