The World Bank Group is hiring an Operations Officer for its Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory team, based in Dakar, Senegal. This role will support the delivery of advisory services, focusing on climate adaptation and resilience, decarbonization, and broader sustainability issues. The team is based globally, with experts in Washington, DC, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The Operations Officer will contribute to the growth of IFC's infrastructure investment business, particularly in energy and mining, as well as other infrastructure sectors. Responsibilities

Support regional client engagement across Africa to identify new business opportunities
Design innovative solutions that address clients' risks and challenges
Manage and deliver client-facing projects
Develop and disseminate lessons learned and knowledge materials on SIA's services and broader sustainability topics
Contribute to the growth of IFC's infrastructure investment business, particularly in energy and mining
Support the regional team in developing and disseminating knowledge materials
