Eligibility

Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, a postgraduate (master’s/PhD) program
Demonstrated experience through coursework, academic research, internships, or employment in financial services, investment analysis, data analytics, or related disciplines
Understanding of financial products, investment processes, financial institutions, capital markets, or development finance
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience working with large and complex datasets
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI
Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, generative AI, data automation, and advanced analytics tools and their practical application to business problems
Academic background must align with the requirements outlined in the job description
Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group’s mission
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
