Benefits & Financial Aid - Monthly Stipend: €2,670 for postdocs, €3,170 for experienced researchers - Lump Sum Mobility Allowance: For conferences, research trips, library stays in Germany and abroad - Medical and Liability Insurance Subsidies: For successful applicants - Travel Expenses Allowance: For unreimbursed travel expenses - Language Fellowship: For intensive language courses, spouses, and family members - Family Allowances: For family members staying at least three months - Europe Allowance: For research stays at institutes in other European countries - Subsidy towards Research Costs: €800 per month for natural sciences and engineering, €500 per month for humanities and social sciences - Language Fellowship for Accompanying Spouses: Covers course fees, accommodation, and breakfast - Family Allowance for Partners: €276 per month for successful applicants Eligibility Criteria • Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree within the past four years • Open to researchers from all disciplines • A strong academic record and high-quality research proposal are required • Demonstrated potential for future collaborations with German researchers • Open to researchers from all nationalities • A confirmed host institution in Germany is required • Proficiency in English or German is recommended • Must not have previously received a Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral researchers Required Documents • Curriculum vitae (max two pages) • Research outline (max five pages) • Complete list of publications • List of selected key publications • Key publications • Doctoral certificate or proof of successful completion of your doctorate • German language certificate • Publisher's acceptance notifications, or summaries/translations of key publications not in German or English • Host's statement and confirmation that research facilities are available • Two expert reviews 2. Authors of reference letters or the host's confidential statement must upload them directly through the applicant's form 4.
