Creative Director
The opportunity is for a Creative Director position at Bellweather, a creative agency for legacy brands. The role is full-time and fully remote, with a preferred location in the Eastern time zone. Bellweather is a certified woman-owned business and a Webby Award-winning agency. The Creative Director will lead the Creative department and shape the creative direction of every project. The Creative Director will be responsible for leading a team of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters. They will partner with the Strategy team to define creative direction, lead concept development, and present work to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in creative leadership, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Bellweather's work starts with immersive research and deep listening, and the Creative Director will be expected to maintain this standard of quality. The company has a range of clients, including Brooklyn Public Library, MetroPlusHealth, and NYC Votes. Responsibilities Lead the Creative department, a team of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters Partner with the Strategy team to define creative direction Lead concept development and present work to clients Provide creative oversight on photo and video shoots Allocate resources across projects and manage freelancers and vendors Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies Oversee the development of creative pitches and ensure they are compelling and aligned with client needs Deliver persuasive presentations of creative concepts and scaled deliverables to clients Requirements & Qualifications Experience in creative leadership Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies Ability to lead a team and provide creative oversight Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fully remote environment Benefits Salary Range: $150-$170K Fully remote work arrangement Opportunity to work with a range of clients, including nonprofits, cultural institutions, and government organizations 2.
