The Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program is a unique blend of online learning, in-person professional development, and international travel. You'll engage in a semester-long online course, attend an in-person workshop in Washington, D.C., and embark on a two-to-three-week cultural immersion experience in another country. Upon completion, you'll create a valuable resource – a global education guide – to share with your community. Whether you're an expert in STEM, English, special education, or another field, this program offers a rich and inclusive environment for educators from diverse backgrounds. Benefits & Financial Aid - Funding: Comprehensive funding to support your participation in the program - Travel: Two-to-three-week international travel to immerse yourself in another country's culture and education system - Professional Development: In-person workshop in Washington, D.C., and a semester-long online course on global education best practices Eligibility Criteria Be a U.S. citizen Hold a valid passport Have a bachelor's degree Be a U.S. teacher or a teacher from a U.S. international school Have a minimum of two years of teaching experience Demonstrate a commitment to global education and cultural exchange Required Documents A completed application form A personal statement (approximately 500 words) A professional resume or CV Letters of recommendation (typically 2-3) Official transcripts from any institutions you've attended 2. Prepare your required documents, including your personal statement, resume, and letters of recommendation. 3. Submit your application through the online portal. 4. Wait for the review process to be completed by an independent panel of experts. 5. If selected, participate in the program and create a global education guide to share with your community. 6.
