Yacht Cleaner
The company is hiring a Yacht Cleaner to ensure the yacht is presentable to the highest standards. This role involves a range of cleaning tasks, from scrubbing the exterior of the yacht to detailing the helm station. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cleaning position and be comfortable moving around yachts. The job requires attention to detail and a desire to excel in delivering yacht cleanliness. The Yacht Cleaner will utilize chemicals in a safe and cost-effective way, report any defects noticed whilst cleaning, and suggest improvements for cleaning techniques. The company is looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and a team player. The Yacht Cleaner will be responsible for providing a high level of service to guests. This role is with a company that owns and operates yachts, and the Yacht Cleaner will be an important part of the team that keeps the yachts clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities Carrying out a full clean of the yacht from the bridge deck to engine bays Scrubbing the exterior of the yachts daily Cleaning shower curtains, rails, external cushions, and bilges Cleaning and detailing all lockers (gas, anchor and water locker) Cleaning and detailing the helm station including winch handle pockets, cup holders and dorades Buffing the yachts Cleaning all rubbing strakes and exhaust outlets Reporting any defects noticed whilst cleaning to the technical manager Utilizing chemicals in a safe and cost-effective way Suggesting improvements for cleaning techniques Requirements & Qualifications Experience in a cleaning position is desirable Comfortable moving around yachts confidently Desire for excellence Superior attention to detail Self-motivated and able to show initiative Able to work under pressure to deadlines Team player that will assist others when required Hard worker, who is reliable and professional Dedicated to guests and the guest experience 2.
