The Asia-Europe Foundation is organizing the 24th ASEF Seminar 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from October 12 to October 14, 2026. This fully funded international seminar will bring together young leaders, academics, policymakers, civil society representatives, and human rights practitioners from Asia and Europe to discuss global human rights issues. The seminar will be followed by a two-day Capacity-Building Program for selected participants. The seminar's theme, "The Future of Human Rights: From Local to Global," will explore how local human rights initiatives can contribute to regional and global human rights protection while addressing emerging global challenges. The seminar will provide a platform for participants to engage in discussions on various topics, including human rights governance, digital rights, social inclusion, equality and non-discrimination, climate justice, civic participation, international cooperation, emerging human rights challenges, and Asia-Europe regional collaboration.
