- Kamlesh and Satish Agarwal MIS Scholarship Endowment: $1,000 annual scholarship for students enrolled in the Management Information Systems program.
- New Hawk Scholarship: Scholarships for first-year students range from full-ride (covering tuition, fees, books, and housing) to $1,000.
- President's Excellence Scholarship: A scholarship is available to recent high school graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The scholarship award is $3,000, with $1,500 allocated for the fall semester and $1,500 for the spring semester. It is renewable for an additional three years.
- Cullen Leadership Scholarship: A scholarship is available for new undergraduate students seeking a degree and transfer students. To be eligible, applicants must have earned an Associate Degree from a community college in the Houston/Galveston area within 12 months of transferring to UHCL.
Eligibility Criteria
- To apply as a first-year international student at the University of Houston, you must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Undergraduate degree.
- Have attended (or graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States.
- For the Graduate Degree Program, a Bachelor's degree is required for the Master's degree program, and a Master's degree is required for the Ph.D. degree program, both obtained from outside of the United States.
- Show interest and personal initiative in activities related to intercultural learning and exchange.
- Submit a scholarship application with all required documents.
- These scholarships are also available for US citizens.
