About this opportunity
Opportunity Overview
The World Bank Group offers an internship program, WBG Pioneers, providing a high-impact learning experience for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This internship is specifically for a Program Management & Operations Intern in the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency, within the Fiduciary Operations unit (ITSFD). The intern will support program management and operational activities, gaining hands-on experience in a global technology organization. The World Bank Group finances development projects across the globe through three distinct institutions: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association (IBRD/IDA), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). The ITSFD Front Office serves as the operational hub of the unit, supporting leadership and delivery teams across business management, workforce planning, communications, governance, vendor coordination, financial monitoring, onboarding, reporting, and organizational initiatives. The intern will be exposed to business operations, project and portfolio management, communications, organizational effectiveness, process improvement, and executive support within a global institution. The internship provides a front-row seat to how a global technology organization operates and supports the World Bank Group's development mission. The World Bank Group values diversity and encourages all qualified candidates who are nationals of World Bank Group member countries to apply.
