Associate Director - Head of Product Design & Product Owner
The company is hiring an Associate Director to head Product Design and be the Product Owner. This role involves setting a product vision, owning the end-to-end product strategy, and building a backlog of product features. Responsibilities Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it to key stakeholders and the team Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production Build a backlog of product features, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria Continuously improve the backlog, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized Ensure customer-driven design, considering user pain points and usability test results Approve each feature and provide valuable feedback for the team Drive sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master Exercise strong decision-making mandate from the executive group to own the product end-to-end Work with the Solution Architect to build a modular and reusable solution Requirements & Qualifications Deep knowledge of relevant domains, products, and journeys Solid knowledge of industry trends and pain points Comfortable with technology and IT to enable engagement and discussion with the tech team Experience in Agile Development, with specific Product Design (UX/UI) and experience in leading the Product Owner Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs Sufficient authority to make real-time decisions Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders, with strong leadership skills Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress Challenger mindset and passion to challenge the status quo to find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas Benefits No benefits were specified in the job listing. 2.
