Medical Device UniQuality & Unidata Product Information Specialist

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is hiring a Medical Device UniQuality & Unidata Product Information Specialist to work in one of their offices, with a contract of 80% and a permanent position. The starting date is as soon as possible, and the deadline to apply is August 7, 2026. The successful candidate will be offered a contract in the MSF office of their country of residence at the time of application. MSF is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, and natural disasters. The organisation offers assistance to people based only on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. The SPINCO team, which this role is part of, was created to maintain consistency in the choice of medical and non-medical articles between MSF sections, improving MSF interventions and considering field realities. The role of the Medical Device UniQuality & Unidata Product Information Specialist is focused on ensuring that information related to entities and quality review in UniQuality and the MD Repository is complete, accurate, and available for the relevant MSF stakeholders. This includes managing entities in UniQuality, ensuring the quality of information in the MD repository, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to support field operations, supply chain performance, and interoperability. Responsibilities Manage entities in UniQuality, including creating, validating, and updating medical device entities according to relevant SOPs Ensure the quality of information in the MD repository, including checking for completeness of data and consistency with public databases Develop a plan to gradually introduce a data quality and reporting plan to ensure trust is maintained Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders in case of questions about rules or non-conformity of information contained in UniQuality Monitor, evaluate, and process requests for new, modified, or removed products in alignment with MSF guidelines, protocols, and standards Consolidate and validate information on product description, quality, pricing, field testing, and maintenance requirements for approval by the Medical Directors' platform Ensure product availability and suitability for field use by collaborating with QA teams, buyers, and regional hubs Own the data product lifecycle and technical specifications Ensure the product meets user needs and use cases Prioritise improvements and manage changes over time Collaborate with intersectional platforms, supply centres, and field operations to standardise products across MSF operations Facilitate resource sharing and intersectional field operations by ensuring product harmonisation Promote responsible use of product data to balance efficiency, cost, and humanitarian mission Ensure and maintain the high quality of product information in terms of accuracy, validity, consistency, completeness, uniqueness, and accessibility of product information in the UniData tool Ensure UniData serves as the single source of truth for downstream systems Govern the central database and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Experience in a similar role, preferably in a humanitarian or medical context Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and product information management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including field teams, supply centres, and regional hubs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain high-quality product information and ensure data consistency Benefits Compensation and benefits package according to MSF practice Opportunity to work with a reputable humanitarian organisation Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development opportunities 2.
