About this opportunity
NinjaOne is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Java to work on its IT Operations product suite, specifically the Triggers and Conditions team. The company builds automated endpoint management software used by more than 40,000 customers to monitor, protect, and maintain millions of servers and endpoints. This is a senior-level engineering role focused on designing scalable systems, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring junior developers. NinjaOne is a fast-growing IT software company headquartered in Austin, Texas, with a second office in Tampa, Florida. The platform automates the hardest parts of IT work, giving IT teams and managed service providers visibility and control over their entire device fleet. The company ranks #1 on G2 in endpoint management, patch management, remote monitoring and management, and mobile device management. It is known for its customer-obsessed culture, offering free and unlimited onboarding, training, and support to every customer. The role is fully remote for candidates living in the USA, but only in specific states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WA. NinjaOne cannot hire for this role within Chicago city limits due to operational policies. There are physical offices in Austin and Tampa if you prefer a hybrid arrangement instead of working from home. The company does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. The tech stack is substantial. NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres, running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. You will work on high-availability systems that support global operations, so experience with large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design, and client-server architecture will help you hit the ground running. The base salary for roles in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Washington, and New York ranges from $160,000 to $240,000 per year.
