About this opportunity
Lenovo is hiring an Analista de Automação Jr. (Junior Automation Analyst) to provide technical support for the industrial automation systems at its factory in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. This is a full-time, on-site position where the analyst will help implement and maintain automation projects, keeping equipment running, supporting production continuity, and helping raise the factory's automation rate. The role involves frequent contact with the Production, Manufacturing, IT, Quality, and R&D departments. Lenovo is a global technology company with US$83 billion in annual revenue, ranked #196 in the Fortune Global 500, and serving customers in 180 markets. Originally known as the world's largest PC maker, the company has expanded into a full-stack portfolio that includes AI-enabled devices (PCs, workstations, smartphones, tablets), infrastructure (servers, storage, edge computing, high-performance computing, and software-defined infrastructure), software, solutions, and services. Lenovo is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under Lenovo Group Limited (HKSE: 992) with ADR trading under LNVGY. The company's stated mission is to deliver "Smarter Technology for All." Indaiatuba is a mid-sized city in São Paulo state, roughly 100 kilometers from the capital. It has a strong industrial base, with many multinational manufacturers operating there. The cost of living is lower than in São Paulo city, and the region has a well-developed infrastructure. Working on-site in Indaiatuba means being embedded in the factory environment, which suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and direct collaboration with production teams. The climate is subtropical, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. For international applicants, Brazil requires a work visa, which the company typically sponsors for qualified candidates, though this role is primarily aimed at local candidates given the language requirements.
