About this opportunity
Lenovo is hiring a Workstation Account Executive to cover Western Canada, with the candidate required to be based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This full-time sales role sits within Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) and focuses on driving revenue growth for the company's professional workstation portfolio, including ThinkStation and ThinkPad P Series products. The position involves working with clients who need serious computing power for demanding workloads like engineering, media production, scientific research, and data analysis. Lenovo is a massive player in global technology, generating US$83 billion in annual revenue and ranking #196 on the Fortune Global 500. The company operates in 180 markets and is the world's largest PC maker. Beyond PCs, Lenovo builds a full-stack portfolio that includes workstations, smartphones, tablets, servers, storage, edge computing, high-performance computing, software, and services. The company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under Lenovo Group Limited (HKSE: 992) with an ADR listing under LNVGY. Their stated mission is delivering "Smarter Technology for All," with ongoing investment in AI-enabled and AI-optimized devices. The Intelligent Devices Group is the division behind Lenovo's market-leading PC, workstation, and smart device products. This group also covers gaming solutions, visuals and displays, thin and light computing, smart devices, and as-a-service offerings. As a Workstation Account Executive, you would be the specialist who helps customers maximize performance for complex and demanding workloads, working alongside Lenovo Client Managers, PC Specialists, and Channel Account Managers. Vancouver offers a strong technology sector with a growing presence of animation studios, engineering firms, and research institutions, all of which need high-performance workstations. The city has a mild climate compared to the rest of Canada, with relatively temperate winters and comfortable summers.
