About this opportunity
UEFA is hiring a Management Support and Project Coordinator to join its Marketing division in Nyon, Switzerland, starting September 1, 2026. This is a fixed-term contract running until August 31, 2030, working 80-100% capacity. The role sits within the Sponsorship & Licensing and Marketing Activities departments, supporting two department heads and their teams with administrative, budgetary, and project work. The hybrid setup allows up to one day of remote work per week. The day-to-day work splits into three main areas. First, classic executive support: managing diaries, travel, expense claims, and preparing presentations and reports. Second, budget coordination: tracking annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, purchasing, and invoicing for both departments. Third, project delivery: helping run sponsorship workshops, internal team events, and supporting national associations that host UEFA youth national team competitions. You would also help manage digital assets and support UEFA's corporate partnerships in grassroots football, sustainability, medical, and refereeing areas. UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations, is the governing body of European football. Based in Nyon since 1995, it runs the Champions League, Europa League, European Championship, and youth national team competitions across its 55 member associations. The organization employs roughly 700 staff and works with commercial partners, broadcasters, and national federations across the continent. This role puts you at the intersection of football's commercial side and its grassroots development work. Nyon sits on the shores of Lake Geneva, about 25 kilometers from Geneva. It is a small, affluent town with a strong international community thanks to UEFA's presence and proximity to UN agencies. The cost of living is high, especially for housing, but salaries in Switzerland reflect that. The work culture is professional and structured, with English as the working language. International applicants will need a valid Swiss work permit, which UEFA assists with for successful candidates. The region offers easy access to the Alps, excellent public transport, and a mild climate year-round.
