About this opportunity
UEFA is hiring an Accommodation Manager to lead housing strategy and operations for its national team competitions, with the main focus on EURO 2028. The role is based in Nyon, Switzerland, on a permanent contract, with a hybrid setup allowing up to one day of remote work per week. The start date is October 1, 2026, or as soon as possible, and applications close on August 7, 2026. The person in this role runs the entire accommodation program for teams, officials, VIP guests, partners, and staff during major tournaments. That means sourcing and contracting hotels, negotiating rates and room inventories, overseeing supplier performance, and leading on-site operations when events go live. The job also includes managing a team, coordinating with other functional areas like transport and security, and handling budgets, timelines, and risks from planning through delivery. UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations, is the governing body of European football. It organizes the UEFA Champions League, the European Championship, and other continental competitions. The organization is headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland, and works with 55 national member associations across Europe. EURO 2028 will be co-hosted by England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, making it one of the largest sporting events in the world, with matches played across multiple stadiums and cities. Nyon sits on the shore of Lake Geneva, about 25 kilometers from Geneva. The cost of living is high, reflecting Swiss standards, but salaries in international organizations like UEFA typically match that. The climate is temperate, with mild summers and cool winters. Geneva airport is roughly a 30-minute drive away, and the city has good rail connections to Lausanne and Geneva. For international applicants, UEFA generally supports work permit and visa processes for successful candidates.
