Malaysia International Scholarship 2026 (MIS) in Malaysia
The Malaysia International Scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, covering tuition fees and offering a monthly living allowance of RM 1,500. This program aims to attract outstanding international students who wish to pursue full-time Master's or PhD degrees at leading Malaysian universities. The scholarship is available for students from eligible countries, including ASEAN member countries, Commonwealth countries, and several others. The scholarship provides financial support, allowing scholars to focus on their academic and research goals. It welcomes talented graduates who demonstrate strong academic performance and research potential. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to study at leading Malaysian universities, with access to quality research facilities and international academic and cultural exposure. The program is open to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, including being a citizen of an eligible country, applying for full-time Master's or PhD studies in Malaysia, and meeting the age requirement. Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency and submit a research proposal for Master's by Research and PhD applications.
