Transatlantic Partnership Program
The U.S. Mission to Germany's Public Diplomacy Section is accepting proposals for its Transatlantic Partnership Program, which aims to strengthen the U.S.-German relationship through forward-looking initiatives. The program supports projects that highlight the enduring partnership and democratic principles between the two countries, with a focus on key areas such as sports, science, and space, as well as countering anti-Semitism and supporting freedom of speech. As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, the program seeks innovative projects that deepen mutual understanding and foster collaboration between German audiences and the United States. The program encourages proposals in areas such as science and technology, sports diplomacy, and projects addressing anti-Semitism and freedom of expression. Proposals should include strong U.S. components, clearly defined German target audiences, and a strategic implementation plan. The program also encourages projects that evaluate exchange programs and sister city partnerships to demonstrate lasting impact. Proposals will be evaluated on their ability to increase awareness, shape attitudes, strengthen skills, or build sustainable networks that support U.S.-German cooperation. The program is part of the U.S. Mission to Germany's efforts to promote people-to-people ties and strengthen the transatlantic relationship.
