1st and 2nd grade Reading Tutors in Crofton at Four Seasons and Waugh Chapel Elementary

The STAIR-Annapolis program offers a twice-weekly after school literacy tutoring opportunity for volunteers to work with first and second grade students reading below grade level. The program is run at two sites: Four Seasons Elementary and Waugh Chapel Elementary in Crofton/Gambrills. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour-long session, and can choose their level of commitment. The program runs from early October to early May. The STAIR-Annapolis program provides a comprehensive introduction and training for all new volunteers. The program has regular monthly information sessions, which are 45 minutes long and provide an overview of the STAIR program. Volunteers will be working with students who are reading below grade level, and will be providing one-on-one tutoring sessions. The program is looking for volunteers who can commit to one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. The STAIR-Annapolis program is a twice-weekly after school literacy tutoring program for Anne Arundel County Public School first and second grade students reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour and fifteen minutes, and the program runs from early October to early May. The program is held at two locations: Tracey's Elementary on Mondays and Thursdays, and Lothian Elementary on Mondays and Wednesdays, both from 2:30-3:45. Volunteers can choose to commit to one or two days per week, or work as substitutes on an as-needed basis. A comprehensive introduction and training are provided for all new volunteers. The program is designed to support students who are struggling with reading, and tutors will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their students' literacy skills. 1st and 2nd grade Reading Tutors for Quarterfield and Hebron-Harmon Elementary in Severn

The STAIR-Annapolis program is a twice-weekly after-school literacy tutoring program for first and second-grade students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools who are reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for 1 hour and 15 minutes per session. The program has 15 sites throughout the county, including Quarterfield Elementary School and a new site at Hebron-Harmon Elementary. The tutoring sessions at Quarterfield Elementary School are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:45, while the sessions at Hebron-Harmon Elementary will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:45. The program runs from early October to early May. The STAIR-Annapolis program offers flexibility to its tutors, allowing them to choose their level of commitment, whether it's one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. This flexibility is designed to accommodate the schedules of its tutors, who can choose to work at a site that is convenient to their home. Tutors and substitutes are needed at all of the West County sites, including Quarterfield Elementary School and Hebron-Harmon Elementary.
