Hardware Engineer II

This role is part of the Hardware Engineering team and requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of industrial experience, with 2+ years of in-depth experience in x86 architecture and hardware design. Server design experience is strongly preferred. The Hardware Engineer II will work on designing and developing hardware components, including high-speed PCB design and signal integrity. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex hardware issues and collaborating with other engineers. Strong problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. Responsibilities Design and develop hardware components, including high-speed PCB design and signal integrity Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and collaborate with other engineers Work on x86 architecture and hardware design Design and develop server components Use EDA schematic design tools for PCB schematic creation, supporting physical/Layout design activity, hardware bring-up, and validation Investigate and resolve complex hardware issues Communicate effectively with other engineers, customers, and executives Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering 4+ years of industrial experience 2+ years of in-depth experience in x86 architecture and hardware design Server design experience is strongly preferred Knowledge and design experience of DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C Experience with EDA schematic design tools Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Master's Degree is preferred Previous experience in High-speed board design, Signal Integrity, FPGA code development and validation, DC Power circuit design, and/or PCIe bus design, simulation, and validation is preferred Proficiency in Linux/Windows Operating systems is preferred Experience with OS virtualization is preferred Strong proficiency in shell scripting (BASH/Perl/Python and Windows Power Shell) is preferred Benefits Opportunity to work with a global technology powerhouse Collaborative team environment Professional development opportunities Access to cutting-edge technology and tools How to Apply 1.
