Opportunity Overview The European University Institute (EUI) is seeking a highly skilled Project Assistant to support the Max Weber Programme, a prestigious postdoctoral research initiative. As a key member of the team, you will provide organisational and logistical support to the Programme Director and activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant intellectual community and contribute to the development of early-career scholars from around the world. The Max Weber Programme is a unique postdoctoral programme that offers one- and two-year fellowships to outstanding early-career scholars in the historical, humanities, and social sciences. With a strong focus on interdisciplinary dialogue and scholarly exchange, the Programme is designed to equip Fellows with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the global academic landscape. As a Project Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Programme staff, Fellows, and external partners. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of special initiatives, coordinating events, and contributing to the development of Programme publications. Benefits & Financial Aid - Stipend: €2,160 per month - Contract type: Full-time, 30/30, 40 hours/week - Length of contract: 1 year, with potential for renewal up to 5 years - Salary indication and grade: ASTAC1e step 1 Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related fields - Strong proven organisational and project-coordination skills - Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating project initiatives - Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English - Proven experience in working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in an international academic environment - Strong demonstrated digital literacy Required Documents - CV - Cover letter - Bachelor's degree certificate - Proof of language proficiency (CEFR level C1 or above) How to Apply 1.
